Welcome to the 2008 NW RC Offshore Championship
This is the first of what we hope will be many years of having a annual premire large scale RC gas boat event here in the Pacific Northwest. Our intent is to provide a relaxed fun event with lots of exciting RC gas boat action. Saturday is for test and tune plus we hope to have some great demos of RC seaplanes, helicopters and other types of RC race boats. We hope to put together an exhibition 'THUNDERBOAT' race saturday evening. Saturday open water for test and tune will be from noon till 4pm. Catered BBQ from 4-6pm and the THUNDERBOAT(or ?) exhibition race @ 6:30pm. As this is the Pacific Northwest, we will have a large event tent where the BBQ, entertainment and participants will be able to take shelter from the rain if it shows up. Although last year, same place and time, we had eighty degrees and blue skys. Check out the pictures and videos of the race site and pit area, plenty of space for your 'pop-ups' etc. Overnight RV parking is available W/O hookups for participants only, $20 fee.
